Regain Your Pre-Baby Confidence With a Mommy Makeover

Your family is your pride and joy, and you beam when you look at them. When you see yourself in the mirror, however, that look fades as you take in how pregnancy has changed your body.

While you would never want to turn back the clock on your family, we can turn it back on your body with a mommy makeover.

At McHugh Plastic Surgery, Dr. Thomas McHugh is an experienced plastic surgeon who has spent decades helping clients achieve their cosmetic goals and body-shape dreams. If you’re longing for that pre-pregnancy body again, we can help with our mommy makeover service.

No two mommy makeovers are alike

Each year in the United States, there are more than 3.6 million births, and what all of these women can attest, pregnancy can change your body in some very significant ways. For more details, we wrote a blog post on the subject just a few months ago.

To recap, changes in your breasts, your buttocks, your genitals and vagina, and your abdomen are some of the more common complaints that we can address with a mommy makeover.

When you come in, we sit down with you to understand your goals, and then we spend some time evaluating your current condition.

Each woman is different, so mommy makeovers can vary a great deal, but here are some of the options:

We also have less invasive body contouring and skin tightening technologies that can play roles in your efforts to recapture your pre-childbearing body.

Finding your mommy makeover combo

It’s important to note that we usually can’t perform a single mommy makeover. Instead, we need to break up your procedures and combine them in a way that makes the most sense. For example, we can combine liposuction with a tummy tuck, but we might separate a breast procedure from a buttock procedure.

The reason for this is that we need to keep your recovery and comfort in mind, and we also don’t want to overwhelm your healing resources all at once.

Your journey through pregnancy and childbearing didn’t happen overnight, so we ask you for a little more patience as we navigate you back to your pre-pregnancy body.

It’s also important that you’re sure that you won’t be having any more children. Nothing can undo our great results faster than a pregnancy.

Rest assured, we’ll work together to find the perfect timeline for your mommy makeover so you can continue forward in motherhood with confidence.

To figure out whether you’re a good candidate for a mommy makeover and which combination or procedures is right for you, please contact our office in The Woodlands, Texas, to schedule a consultation.
